Marblex S.A. is a second-generation family business firstly founded in 1975 by Mathew Chatzis as Hatzis Marbles S.A. and followed by his son Dimitris Chatzis.
Argun Limited is a Partner of Greek producer of marble - Marblex S.A. The first time we visited the factory of the company in Greece in 2016.
Marblex S.A. is one of the biggest and best Greek companies in the field of processing and trading marble. Marblex S.A. is a producer and exporter of marble in blocks, slabs, tiles, and cut to sizes of all white and colored marble from Greece.
In 2006, Hatzis Marbles S.A. merged with D. Grammatopoulos S.A., resulting in G.H. Smili which was actively involved in projects in Greece and in the promotion of Greek marble abroad.
In 2020, G.H. Smili was changed into Marblex S.A.
The Company was established as a Manufacturer and a wholesale distributor of all the finest Greek marble. Marblex S.A. has its privately owned facilities in a 30.000 sq.m. area in Koropi, Athens, 5 minutes by car from the Athens International Airport.
The factory is equipped with recent technology machinery including CNC machines, water jet, gangsaw, polishing machines able to produce any design, dimension, and marble thickness. Among the facilities are included a factory exceeds 6 acres, warehouses 24.000 sq.m., production buildings 2.400 sq.m., offices 550 sq.m. and a showroom 500 sq.m. where the products are on display.
